He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Hooper and Polly Hooper. He is survived by: his wife Suellen; his children, Dr. Sarah Learman and Dr. Deric Learman; his grandchildren, William Learman and Elizabeth Learman; his sister Hope Robinson (Richard); and his nephews, Josh and James Murphy.
COVID-19 brought his career a jumpstart, as he began working with a local surveying company.
