She was predeceased by: her friend Gloucester; and her parents, William and Virginia Pearl Kinney Miles. She is survived by: her husband Bill Friend; her daughter Leslie Thompson (Eric); her grandchildren, Sarah, Melody and Andrew; and her siblings, Donald Miles (Beth), Kathy Hannigan (Bill), William Miles (Charlotte) and Herbert Flanning. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
