He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Drake, Sr. and Eva Mae "Bug" Drake; his daughter Marlene E. Drake; and his sister Barbara Drake Edens. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Booth Drake; and his siblings, James W. Drake (Sarah) and Catherine Drake Mott (Joseph). He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Butch can be made to Riverside Walter Reed Hospice, P.O. Box 1130, Gloucester, VA 23061.
