He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Nixon and Mamie Nixon; and his spouse Maezine Bennett Lilly. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rosewell Memorial Cemetery (3609 Providence Rd, Hayes, VA 23072).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Riverside Walter Reed Hospital, whose staff, doctors, and nurses consistently provided the very highest quality of patient and family centered care.
