He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. George Colbert and Hilda Lankford Tyler; his daughter Elisabeth Lee Weidhaas; and his brother Colbert McLauren Tyler. He is survived by: his wife Anne Lee Chapman Tyler; his son Phillip Coulbourn Tyler; his son-in-law Gary Weidhaas; and his granddaughters, Anne Weidhaas Conte, Claire Coulbourn Weidhaas and Geneva Gail Weidhaas.
