She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Best and Ruby McPherson Best; and her siblings, Jake, Joe Best, Nizy Bell Best, Jessie Best, Nezi Mae Pope and Estelle Best Martin.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Glenn Crumpler; her children, Glenna Montgomery Alexander of Hertford, NC, Mark Crumpler of Siler City, NC, Becky Brown (Randy) of Yorktown, VA and Beverly Cole (David) of Evington, VA; and her sister-in-law Louise Crumpler Goddard (Max). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren (with two on the way) one great-great-grandchild.
