She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Spangler and John E. Thomas; her husbands, Vernon B. Hungate, Jr. and William R. Goodwin; her son David A. Hungate; and her grandson Ricky Suarez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Soukup, Cynthia Suarez (Armando) and Judith Poland (Gary); her grandchildren, Christopher, Christina, Elizabeth, Stacey Soukup, David Hungate, Jr., Jennifer Montgomery, Michael Hungate, April Poland, John Ligon, Nicholas Ligon and Heather McFarland; and her caregivers, Stephanie Cann, Alexis Carew and Holly Mullins. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
