It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Atkinson of Gloucester Point, Virginia, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on November 28, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Atkinson and Margaret Atkinson; and his brother Donald Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, James Gilbert Atkinson, Michael Andrew Atkinson and Julie Ann Andrews (Lee Andrews); his grandchildren, Christopher Andrews, Jenifer Andrews, Jimmy Atkinson Jr. and Erin Atkinson; and also, Adrian and Nathaniel.
