She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond Shepherd and Ethel Mullins Shepherd; her husband Emory W. Evans, Jr.; her children, Rebecca G. Cameron, Douglas W. Evans and Joe Hayslett; and her sister Elizabeth Collier. She was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
