We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2024, at the age of 94, Violette Frances Abraham Bottoms of Glen Allen, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Abraham and Bahegia Abraham; her husband Leo Anthony Bottoms, Jr.; and her brothers, Victor and Emile Abraham.
She is survived by: her children, Helen B. Tarantino (late Tony), Leo Anthony Bottoms, III (Lee) and Alecia B. Wood (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Lindsay W. Brown, Laura B. Mattal (Paul), Andrew V. B. Tarantino (Jessica) and Scott R. Bottoms (Kelsey); her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Noah, Dawson and Lucas Tarantino; and her grandchildren, Susannah, Marina Mattal, Layton, London Brown, Juliette and Lainey Bottoms.
During the pandemic and thereafter, Frances "attended" Sunday worship services at First Baptist Church via television.
Contributions may be made in memory of Frances Bottoms to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
