He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Courtney and Betty Courtney; and his brother Dennis Koontz. He is survived by: his wife Robin W. Courtney; his son Glenn Courtney (Alex); and his sisters, Trixie Keaton (Robert) and Roxie Cosner. He is also survived by 2 nieces, a nephew; 3 great nieces; and 3 great nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home (8014 Lee Davis Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
