He was predeceased by: his parents, Atwood W. Chesnut and Lillian Phipps Chesnut. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Andrew (Fabiola) and Elizabeth Kennedy (Paul Kennedy); and his grandchildren, Vanessa, Nicholas Chesnut, David and Eric Martinez.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Gayton Kirk Presbyterian Church (11421 Gayton Rd, Henrico, VA 23238).
