He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas O'Conner Johnson and Marie Dominica Boehling; and his brothers, Jerry Vonderlehr Johnson and Thomas O'Connor Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his daughters, Karen Meier (Stephen) and Christine Cooper (John); his grandchildren, Hannah, Noam, Preston, Bryce, Jeremiah and Rebekah; his sisters-in-law, Deborah Vaughan Johnson and Virginia Corbell Johnson; and his nieces and nephews, Stephen Johnson, Paul Hedrick, David Johnson, Jenny Fisher and Katherine Upshaw.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be considered to either Virginia Blood Services or Saint Michael Catholic Church.
