“I was so saddened to learn of Nancy's death this evening. I want to share a story that demonstrates the kind of nurse and woman she was. A new mother came in complaining of headaches and after a CT scan was read, she was told she suffered from an inoperable brain tumor. I remember looking into the patient's room and catching Nancy cradling the woman against her chest as the patient openly wept. To this day, I haven't seen anything as beautiful as what I witnessed then. I'll miss her”
