She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Staples and Lynwood Staples. She is survived by: her husband Robert Graham Alvis; and her brother-in-law James Alvis (Barbara). She is also survived by many cousins; a niece; and a great-niece and great-nephew.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home (11020 W Broad St, Glen Allen, VA 23060). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
