He was predeceased by: his father Ignacio Obispo Aquilo, Jr. (Jun). He is survived by: his mother Marcelina Aquilo; his wife Melissa Aquilo; his sons, Adam Aquilo and Owen Aquilo; and his siblings, Dennis Aquilo, Norm Aquilo and Nanette Young (Jim).

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes (8200 Woodman Rd, Henrico, VA 23228). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Atlas (4035 Innslake Dr, Glen Allen, VA 23060). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Roselawn Memory Gardens (8200 Woodman Rd, Henrico, VA 23228).

“This is quiet a shock! Jun was a classmate of my daughter Sonya This is a shock! Jun was a classmate of my 2 daughters Sonya (Bower) Shaver and Acey (Brincefield) Cook at Sacred Heart School. Marcella my heart goes out to you and you are in my prayers for this unfortunate loss. These kids were VERY close knit and their bond will never be apart!!!!!”
