He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Thomas Earl Patteson and Annette Holman Patteson. He is survived by: his wife Adamarye; and his children, Teresa Coleman (Darrell), Steve Patteson (Laura), Denise Andrews (David) and Jeffrey Patteson (Kim).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Greenwood United Methodist Church (10040 Greenwood Rd r, Glen Allen, VA 23060). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Amelia Virginia Veterans Cemetery (10300 Pridesville Rd, Amelia Court House, VA 23002).
