He was predeceased by: his wife Nella. He is survived by: his children, Helen A. Treleven, George W. Weir, Retired Army Colonel Donald, Robert B. Weir (Diane) of Haymarket and Denise Weir Bartlett (Jeffrey) of Glen Allen. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
In honor of Nella, George was a volunteer and supporter of the Alzheimer's Foundation.
