With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar Joseph Herron Sr. (Glen Allen, Virginia), born in New York, New York, who passed away on July 26, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ledgure and Leona; his son Devron; his grandsons, Joshua and Christian Herron-Sanchez; and his siblings, Yvonne Grant, Oliver and Sheldon Herron.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne Nelson-Herron; his sons, Lesean, Edgar Jr. and John Harris; his grandsons, Branden, Christopher and Christian Herron; his sister Denise Herron; his stepchildren, Alison Price (Damon, Sr.) and Darryl Nelson; his stepgrandchildren, Damon Jr., Lenzi Price and Everly Nelson; and his godson Derrick Clarke. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
