She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bahen and Thelma Bahen of Virginia; her husband Robert Puryear; her brothers, Charles Jones Jr. and Melvin Jones; and her in-laws, C. L. and Louise Puryear.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Puryear; her grandson Brendan Puryear; her brothers, Joe Bahen (Tricia) and Frank Bahen (Beverley); her nieces, Kim Cochran (Lori), Noel Lundien (Mark) and Mary Scott Fisher (David); and her sister-in-law Sylvia Puryear. She is also survived by nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
