It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Colegrove of Glen Allen, Virginia, born in Breeden, West Virginia, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leo Messer and Martha Hodge Messer; her sons, Timothy Leslie Ferguson and Johnny Ferguson; her grandson Donald Newsome Jr.; her great grandchild Emily Renee Wellman; her niece Dawn Michelle Vance; and her great-nephew Dylan Lee Allman.

She is survived by: her spouse Leslie Ferguson of Dingess, WV; her children, Gregory Allen Ferguson (Mary) of Chapmanville, WV, Donna Ferguson of Glenn Allen, VA, Emily Ann Wellman (Steve) of Glen Allen, VA and Martha Elaine McCoy (Donald) of Dingess, WV; her grandchildren, Brandon Ferguson (DeeDee) of Charleston, WV, Austin Ferguson (Georgianna) of Charleston, WV, Jacqlyn Endicott (Kyle) of Dingess, WV, Christian Wellman (Abbie) of Glenn Allen, VA, Timothy Newsome of Dingess, WV, Joshua Macon of Glenn Allen, VA and Hunter Wellman of Glen Allen, VA; her great grandchildren, Abel Ferguson, Eli Ferguson, Joel Ferguson, Lydia Ferguson, Sammi Endicott, Amelia Endicott, Natalee Endicott, Baby Macon and Baby Ferguson; her siblings, Lloyd Messer (Mary Ellen), James Randy Messer (Alice), Phyllis Clay, Tennie Johnson (Harold) and Bonnie Maynard (E. J.); and her niece Terry Brayant (Vance). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
