He is survived by: his wife Gladys Wolfe Whittaker; his son Darrell Whittaker of Damascus, VA; and his brother Kenny Whittaker (Patsy) of Bowling Green, VA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
