He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther William Eades and Frances Alma Rosser Eades; his wife Louise Wilson Eades; and his sister Edith Eades Krantz. He is survived by: his children, William Thomas Eades (Pamela) of Evington, Edward Eugene Eades (Ginger) of Lynchburg and Jo Anne Eades Phelps of Gladys; his grandchildren, Leathie Hahn (Austin), Justin Fisher (Kelsey), Taylor Ellington (Rusty) and Geoffrey Woody; and his brothers, James (Marie), Kenneth (Donna), Larry (Cynthia) and Randy Eades (Carol). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kedron Baptist Church.
