She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Michael Layne; her parents, Allen Doyle Beverly and Thelma Yeates Beverly; and her son George Franklin Dalton, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Janet Tolliver of Lynchburg, Allen Parrish of Gladys, Melody Pool of Gladys and LaShawn Wright of Brookneal; her grandchildren, Bronson Tolliver, Daniel Dalton, Beth Dalton, Josh Dalton, Samantha Pool, Jodi Pool, River Wright, Hunter Wright and Lily Wright; and her sisters, Susan Revis, Sharon Seigla and Cathy Neal.
