He was predeceased by: his wife Cindy Marie Keep Childrey; and his father James Monroe Childrey. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Jean Hancock Ivey; his stepfather Donald B. Ivey; and his stepbrothers, Michael W. Ivey (Jill), David L. Ivey (Michele) and Stephen L. Ivey.
