It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Juanita Williams Foster of Gladys, Virginia, who passed away on October 30, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Garland Williams and Helen Wilbun Williams; her spouse Bert Ray Foster; and her brothers, Alford and Steve Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Foster Cox (Worth); her grandchildren, Kelly Breedlove (Tom) of Gladys, Kyle Cox (Jessica) of Gladys and Kimberly Wolfe (Casey) of Gretna; her great grandchildren, Clark, Chloe Breedlove, Lacey, Grace Cox, Hope and Jack Wolfe; her siblings, Marion W. Litchford of Concord, James Williams (Nancy) of Brookneal and H. T. Williams (Marion) of Powhatan; and her sister-in-law Margaret S. Vassar.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Samaritans Purse, Operation Christmas Child.
