He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Hardrick and Nancy Hunter Trent; and his son Garland Edward Trent, Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Emmogene Tabor Trent; his grandchildren, Jamie Brown (Lucas) and Jake Milnor (Bruno); his great grandchildren, Grayson and Cadie Brown; and his siblings, Laura T. Roberts (Gerald), Sarah T. Driskill (Ben) and Samuel D. Trent (Bobbie). He is also survived by friends and relatives.
