She was predeceased by: her parents, David Basil Maddox and Mary Marshall Maddox. She is survived by: her husband Steven Wright Smith; her sons, Stuart Marshall Smith (Christie) of Brookneal, David Miller Smith (Danielle) of Chesterfield and Christopher Trent Smith (Michelle) of Gladys; her grandsons, Kai Douglas Smith, Tristan O'Connell Smith, Colton James Smith and Andrew Maddox Smith; and her friend Mary Kathryn McIvor. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
