She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lee Godsey; her parents, Paul Bunyon Angel and Hester Angel Angel; and her brothers, Monroe, Richard and Willard Angel.
She is survived by: her sons, R. Wayne Godsey (Connie) of Nathalie and Steven R. Godsey (Beth) of Forest; her grandsons, Barry Godsey (Cindy) of Gladys, Chris Godsey (Michele) of Lynchburg and Michael Godsey (Karen) of Forest; and her great grandchildren, Alexis R. Godsey, Courtney B. Godsey, Justin W. Godsey, Crystal Ann Henderson and Rusty Brown (Rachel). She is also survived by four great- great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
