She was predeceased by: her husband William Moon; her parents, Jessie Ed Hamlett and Ellie Nash Hamlett Greenwell; her stepparent Bennie Greenwell (B. W.); her daughter Virginia Sublett; her grandson Justin Winston; her siblings, David, Eddie, Bobby Hamlett, Viola Dagenhart, Ethel Baker and Alice Bellow; her stepsiblings, Gene, John Greenwell, Hennie Donaldson and Betty Allen; and her nephew Bennie Hamlett (Little Ben).

She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Mitchell (Bill) of Gladys; her grandchildren, Neal Mitchell, Rodney Winston and Jennifer Singleton; her great grandchildren, Tyler Mitchell, Logan, Olivia Singleton, Emmerson and Lucas Winston; her son-in-law Spurgeon Sublett of Phenix; her siblings, Butch Hamlett of Gladys and Joyce Austin of Gladys; her stepsisters, Florence English of Spring, TX and Sharon Eisenhardt of Bremmerton, WA; and her siblings-in-law, June Hamlett, Rachel Hamlett, Scottie Hamlett and Russell Baker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions will be received at Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Brookneal.
