He was predeceased by: his parents, Strattin Lee Palmer and Josephine McIvor Palmer; his son Teon L. Harvey; his sisters, Augusta M. Payne and Patricia A. Palmer; and his nephew Tracey Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Palmer; his children, Constance Johnson (Tim) of Gladys, Reanette Bradley (Jason) of Brookneal and NIcole Bradley of Brookneal; his grandchildren, Alexis Palmer, Rashawn Stevens, Amonte Bradley, Kylil, Jayonna Crews, Tequan Stephens, Chasity, Latavia, Shamar and Shakur Harvey; and his siblings, Barbara J. Tines of Cullen, Velma L. Clark (Earl), Aurthur L. Palmer of Lynchburg, Melvin Palmer (Deloris) of Lynchburg, Shelton L. Palmer of Naruna, Samuel M. Palmer (Onnie) of Naruna and Calvin Palmer (Gayzelle) of Gladys. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 Lusardi Dr, Brookneal, VA 24528). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hills Creek Baptist Church (3721 Long Island Rd, Gladys, VA 24554). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the Hills Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (3721 Long Island Rd, Gladys, VA 24554).
