She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Winfree Austin and Margaret Evelyn Hawkins Austin; and her brothers, James, Winfree Austin and Jerry Lewis Austin.

She is survived by: her husband Guy Franklin Mosebrook; her sons, David Franklin Mosebrook (Kathy Lynn) of Rustburg, Dwayne Stuart Mosebrook (Meriam) of Leola, PA and Jonathan Edmond Mosebrook (Lora Mae) of Newport News; her sister Teresa "TJ" Austin of Roanoke; her grandchildren, Alexander, Benjamin, Daphne, Sharen, Michael, Kayla and Savannah; and her aunt Barbara Hawkins Dillon of Forest.
