He was predeceased by: his mothers, Alison Bernard Woodward and Mable Regina Miles Woodward; and his brother Bernard Lee Woodward. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas W. Woodward, Jr. (Sherri) of Madison Heights, VA and Paul W. Woodward (JoAnna) of Petersburg, VA; his grandchildren, Thomas W. Woodward III (Tripp), Mary Gray Woodward, Alexis N. Korkos, Paul W. Woodward, Jr. and Anne Caroline Woodward; and his sisters, Sonia McCracken (Robert) of Bristol, VA, Sylvia Slagle of Bristol, VA and Zina Beth Crowe of Bristol, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
