She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Walton and Francis Marion Payne; her siblings, Marion, Eugene, Gordon, Claiborne, Joe, Walter Payne and Ida Watts; and her husband Sam Bailey. She is also survived by her step-children, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
