She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alexander Leftwich and Vanilla Mae Tracy Leftwich of Narrows, Virginia.; her husband Edward Luther Scruggs; her children, Willie Alexander Scruggs (late Patricia) and Barbara Jane Bolenske (late Donald); her sister Beatrice Scruggs; and her grandchildren, Donald Bolenske, Michael Bolenske (Louise), Tammi Nuckols and Stan Scruggs (Brandy). She was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
