He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Ferguson McCormick; his parents, Walker W. McCormick and Effie Jamerson McCormick; and his siblings, Duvall McCormick, Alton McCormick, Vera McCormick, Virginia Lee Woody, Helen Gunter and Louise Honaker.
He is survived by: his sons, Floyd Lee McCormick, Jr. of Buena Vista, James Wilson "J. W." McCormick (Gwyn) of Spout Spring and Richard Keith McCormick (Diane) of Gladstone; and his sister Peggy Robertson of Wingina. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
