It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorman Lee Jones Sr. of Gladstone, Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Annie Elizabeth Jones; his wife Patricia Jones; and his siblings, Frank Jones and Viola Cox. He is survived by: his father Albert Franklin Jones; his children, Teresa Widener (Jim), Alice Mattox, Tracey Bryant (Macky), Dorman Jones Jr. (Michelle), Jennifer Martin (Greg), Katherine Jones and Daniel Jones; his grandchildren, Robert Bayne Jr. (Jessica), Kelsey Bayne, Samantha Tyree, Brittney Tyree, Kaylee Gage (Jacob), Kenzie Burrill (Matthew), Karli Frederickson (Byron), Heather Mays (Michael), Hannah Campbell (Cody), Dorman Jones III, Greg Martin Jr. (Patricia), Mary Martin (Nathaniel), Caleb Post, Chloe Post and Elijah Post; his sisters, Evelyn Campbell and Clara Hudson; and his cousin William Fitch Tyree. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews.
