It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia JoAnn Lester (Glade Spring, Virginia), who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Owens and Georgia Owens; her husband Joseph Lester (J. G.); her brothers, Raymond "Mick" Owens and James "Jim" Owens; her nephew Kevin Owens; and her niece Kelly Owens.
She is survived by: her son Randy Lester (Janet); her grandson Jacob Lester of Glade Spring; her siblings, Charles Owens (Faye) of Bristol, TN and Brenda Skeens (Doug) of Glade Spring; and her sisters-in-law, June Lester, Peggy Lester and Linda Lester.
Flowers will be accepted or donations are suggested to the Cemetery Fund at Old Glade Presbyterian Church.
