He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Richard Campbell, Sr. and Margaret Hudson Campbell of Saltville; and his siblings, Charles Richard "Dickie" Campbell, Jr. and Doris Ann Price. He is survived by: his wife Josie Valle Campbell; his children, Paul Campbell (Tricia) of Glade Spring, Lance Campbell and Shelley Campbell (Myers Massengill) of Abingdon; and his grandchildren, Sydney Alexandra Campbell, Jack Anthony Campbell, Weatherly Estella Massengill and Camilla Genevieve Sloane Massengill. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
