She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude R. Goff and Pauline Ferguson Goff; her husband Joseph A. Stewart; and her siblings, Claudette Snyder and Wayne Goff.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Stewart of Lynchburg, VA and Mark Preston Stewart of Glade Spring, VA; her brother Wilbur R. Goff (Jeannie) of Bristol, VA; her granddaughter Amanda Stewart; her close friend Brenda Burke of Abingdon, VA; her children, Cordy, Zoey, Willow and Buffy; and also Christy Widner of Emory. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Smyth County Animal Shelter, 287 Fox Valley Road, Marion VA 24354 in Mrs. Stewart's name.
