He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Gray Dishman, Charlie and Louise Cassell; his cousins, Tommy Hurley Jr., Robert Burke and Anita Dishman; and his stepsisters, Monica Kennedy and Vickie "Chub" Dobson.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Cassell of Glade Spring, Virginia; his aunts and uncles, Jo Ann (Jim Hopkins), Debbie Dishman (Bobby Davison), Mary Lynn (David Sessor) and Jerry (Minta Dishman); his stepsiblings, Tammy Garrett, Lisa Anderson, Joy Henderson, Ricky "Whistle" Mumpower and Mike "Sput" Mumpower; and his friend Brian Burke.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service (427 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Farris Funeral Service (427 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210).
