He is survived by: his mother Velma Reedy; his brother Robert "Bob" Reedy; his wife Helen L. Reedy; his daughter Robin Reedy Cavender of Damascus, VA; his granddaughter Kristin Cavender; his stepson Jerry Shelar (Vivian) of Honaker, VA; and his stepgranddaughters, Whitney Marrs and Abigail Marrs. He is also survived by special friend and caregiver, Rita Velazquez of Mountain City, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
