She was predeceased by: her parent Martin Widener; her husband Venton E. Thomas; her sons, Johnny Thomas, Billy Thomas and Kenny Thomas; and her brothers, Marvin Widener, Cecil Widener (Libby), Dorothy Martin and Paige Lane.
She is survived by: her parent Carrie Widener; her daughter Shirley Thomas (Carl Riley); and her grandchildren, Ricky Thomas (Marie), Tammy Barlow (Mike), Jennifer Barlow (Steve), Jonathan Thomas (Tracy), Heather Parris, John Rouse and Josh Thomas (Brooke). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
