He was predeceased by: his father Jessie James Sproles. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sproles of Glade Spring, VA; his grandsons, Jonathon Sproles Jr. (T. J. Whitby) of Glade Spring, VA and Dominic Sproles of Glades Spring, VA; and his brother Henry Sproles. He is also survived by two aunts; several cousins.
