He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Taylor Coleman and Katie Owens Coleman; his daughter Holly Coleman; and his siblings, Howard, Donald Coleman and Helen Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Sue Lyons Coleman; his children, Kathy Jones (Tim) of Emory, VA, Cindy Hughes (Cliff), Angie Doss (Ronnie), Jerry Taylor Coleman, Jr. (Kelly) and Roy Coleman (Rachel); his son-in-law Jeff Duncan; his grandchildren, Valerie Doss, Summer Duncan, Levi Coleman, Rowen Dolge, Liam Dolge and Nicholas Coleman; and his great grandchild Scotty Duncan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, alz.org, in Mr. Coleman's name.
