He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dolphis Moody and Eugenia Grace Smith Moody; and his son Justin Moody. He is survived by: his sons, James Dean "Jimmy" Moody, Jr. (Carrie) and Elliott Keith Moody (Pamela Fugate) of Abingdon; and his grandchildren, Laken Snead (Shane), Haley Moody, Dylan Widener, Courtney Robinson (Jamie), Alicia Combs (Dennis) and Harley Moody. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
