She was predeceased by: her father Willard Widener; her husband James Cecil Owens, Sr.; her sisters, Tina Johnson and Geneva Widener; her great grandchild Zadie Owens; and her son-in-law Jerry Widener.
She is survived by: her mother Mary Thomas Widener; her children, Rita Widener, Jamie Owens and Crystal Owens (Corie Aliff); her siblings, Elsie Thomas, Elizabeth Thomas, Tim Widener and Junior Widener; her grandchildren, Megan Owens, Haley Debord, Hunter Baumgardner, Hannah Baumgardner and Corie Taylor; her great grandchild Easton Rutledge; and her great-niece Casey Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
