He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessee Henry Skeens and Frances Maude Weaver Skeens. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Owens Skeens; his children, Craig Skeens of Abingdon, VA and Leigh Ann Skeens-Wilson (Frederick) of Nashville, TN; his granddaughter Savannah Alice Wilson of Nashville, TN; his sisters, Betty Skeens of Emory, VA and Barbara Kirkpatrick (Wayne) of Crab Orchard, KY; and his nephew Joe Owens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
