He was predeceased by: his parent Raymond Gayler; and his brother Ron Gayler. He is survived by: his parent Lois Lancaster Gayler; his wife Lois Gayler of Glade Spring, VA; his sisters, Shirley Vannoy and Sylvia Anderson; his aunt Margarette Warnick; his nephew Bill Gayler; and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Musselwhite (Robert), Carolyn Keesee and Rita Colley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
