Claudine Sweat Thomas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudine Sweat Thomas of Glade Spring, Virginia, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hal E. Sweat and Blanche Rhea Sweat; her husband Thomas Earl Thomas; and her siblings, Hal Sweat, Jr., Estelle Lowe, Jeanette Sweat, Teddy Sweat, Ralph Sweat, Luther "Popsicle" Sweat, Ed Sweat and Vangie Hayden.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Thomas and Becky Pavlick; her grandsons, Scott Thomas and Cole Pavlick; her great grandchildren, Melody Thomas, Natalie Thomas, Channing Canter and Mox Canter; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Thomas (Jan), Larry Thomas (Peggy), Cardwell, Lois and Judy Sweat. She is also survived by her family and took great pride in her children and especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church of God of Prophecy (302 Crescent Dr, Glade Spring, VA 24340). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to any Breast Cancer Research Foundation or any Alzheimer's Research Foundation in honor of her husband Earl Thomas.
